With regard of the success of the previous events organized by the ROP, which is attached to the network platform of the Mission for Transverse and Interdisciplinary Initiatives (MITI) of the CNRS,  a new National Training Action (ANF) will take place from the 10^th to 12^th of October 2023 at the Roscoff biological station (29).

The present ANF entitled FuturOTOP: evolutions in photonic is aimed at a wide audience ranging from technicians and engineers, to researchers, but also to doctoral and post-doctoral students. It will also be planed exchange times to discuss future actions that could be proposed by the ROP, in particular on the training actions to be carried out and the expectations in relation to the network life.

Through FuturOTOP, the ROP would like to actively participate in the training of agents to apprehend emerging technologies in photonics but also, to give reflexes with regard to societal and environmental issues, which arise more and more in the daily life in our laboratories. Thus, the elaborated program will focus on the following axes:

Axis 1: Practice of optics in laboratories

Axis 2: Algorithms at the service of optics

Axis 3: Optics in relation to the environment

Axis 4: The future of optics

In addition, training and demonstration workshops will also be proposed to the participants. The organizing committee also encourages PhD and other staff who are directly concerned by the proposed themes to present a poster during this event. A time for discussion around these posters is already scheduled.
